Tom has been teaching my son guitar for a year and his progress has been astounding. He looks forward to his lesson every week. Tom takes great care to include his ideas and work with his dyslexia. They have created a number of original songs of which my son is extremely proud. An excellent teacher with a calm and flexible approach. Definitely recommend

It’s never too late to learn something new. After only a few lessons Tom has awoken my love to learning and music again. He takes the time to listen to your interests and what you want to gain from learning and the type of music, which you are interested in and tailors your lessons to suit you. I have really enjoyed emerging from strumming and basic fingerpicking into playing more confidently.
I can play much better with a plectrum now and am playing lead lines and learning by ear instead of depending on TAB. Many have tried to teach me theory and many have failed!
This time it has finally clicked. Now I can make choices in how I express a melody and add my own twists with a range of licks and flavours.

Tom has been teaching my daughter Sonya to play the ukelele for a year now and she can already play several songs confidently. He has really encouraged her to develop and it is lovely to see. She is now starting to write her own songs and sing with her friends in school.
She looks forward to her ukelele lessons and enjoys his creative but structured approach.
